The Rolling Stones have announcement about their forthcoming album in a local London newspaper advert.
“Hackney Diamonds, Specialists in Glass Repair, Opening September 2023,” the advert read on page three of the paper.
According to the NME,Hackney Diamonds’ name is written in the exact same font as their 1978 album Some Girls. Additionally, the advertisement’s “Est 1962” at the bottom makes reference to the year the Rolling Stones were founded.
Users can register their interest on a website by clicking a link. Universal Music Group, which manages the Rolling Stones’ back catalog, is mentioned in the terms.
In their hometown of Dartford, Kent, where the two met in 1961, bronze statues of the band’s leader Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards were presented earlier this month.
The brand-new album will be the first to be published since the passing of drummer Charlie Watts two years ago.
