Helen Skelton emotionally announces departure from BBC Radio Live

Helen Skelton announced that she was leaving her post on BBC Radio 5 Live after a year of hosting the Sunday morning slot because she wanted to spend more time with her children.

During the show, she revealed to her audience that it would be her last show and said goodbye live on air. She shared that she struggled to juggle her duties as a single mother of three children.

She said, “I am not alright about it but it must be done.” The juggling is real. There is an eight-year-old with a sideline who needs me. I have loved every minute of the past year. Thank you to all the team and thank you to all of you. It’s hard to know what to say without getting emotional” The pair married in 2013 and welcomed three children together: sons Ernie, Elsie, and Louis.

According to Closer Magazine Since then, Helen has recently launched herself back into the dating scene. However, the decision has reportedly left the presenter “feeling guilty”

A BBC spokesperson told MailOnline: “Helen pays for the clothes she wears on the show and does not have relationships with the brands tagged. She has now removed brand mentions from social posts linked to the programme.”
